Alan Campbell

Director

Alan Campbell has an outgoing personality with an avid interest in anything vaguely sport related, and is the Director responsible for Business Development in Dearle and Henderson. Being a chartered Architect with 28 years experience in design and construction, equips him well to assist the development of ideas, concepts and solutions to a broad range of client organisations. Alan is registered in both the UK and Ireland.

He has an extensive range of Design and Site experience on a wide variety of building types both at home and abroad, and is the perfect person to utilise this expertise to identify new and emerging markets assisting clients maximise opportunities. This has contributed to the considerable growth of the company over the past decade.

Alan’s knowledge of clients is assisted by the fact that he has been employed in both the Public and Private Sector, having worked for Local Authorities and a range of Private Sector practices since qualifying. Following a term abroad, Alan returned to co establish a private practice, and was in the vanguard of developing the Housing Co operative movement in Scotland. This involved conducting the feasibility, design, procurement and delivery of large scale regeneration projects with complex funding and programming issues. He has worked on a range of new build and renovation projects in Housing, Commercial, Industrial, Health, Leisure and University sectors, including works to listed buildings.

Outside of work, Alan can be found pursuing one of his many sporting interests, but the best place to find him is on the golf course! A member at St. Andrews, playing off a handicap of 9, his dream of making a scratch golfer appear to be heading over the horizon.
